Tempest MIDI Thru

I'm trying to set my MIDI chain up as follows: Octatrack MIDI out to Tempest, Tempest MIDI Thru to Eurorack modular (I'm using an Endorphin Shuttle Control to handle MIDI).

However, I'm getting nothing but clock going into the modular. I have the Tempest on MIDI Channel 3 and am using Channels 1 and 2 on the Modular. The Tempest is set to Slave Thru on the clock.

Can anyone think of a reason why only the clock is making it through to the modular in this chain?

P.S The modular syncs perfectly when conected directly to the Octatrack.

A year late, but very relevant. I think the reason why, is that it isnt designed to do so. A HUGE drawback in most all setups I've tried, but nothing you can't workaround if yuo want it bad enough.

Ye bummer Tempest doesn't have a Midi through port only start/stop/clock messages in slave through mode...
