Midi cuts out every so often - need to replug the USB to fix it.

I am using Ableton and playing a midi track thats outputting to the OB-6.. works fine.. until it just stops.  All i'm doing is fiddling with the knobs on the ob-6 while ableton keeps the loop going, then just -- gone.  USB needs to be unplugged and replugged to make it work again.

Any idea?

edit: ok so, as soon as i start turning the filter frequency knob midi input appears to die.  It doesn't happen every time... but more than once is too many.

I found out that ableton doesn't support NRPN... had to go into globals and change everything to CC.  So far it has been working just fine.
