One voice silent after 1.7.5 update

Hi,

after updating to 1.7.5 on my P6, one voice is silent. I've reset globals and when running the Osc/Filter calibration the process gets stuck on L2.

Anyone any idea before I contact the support?

Have you tried going back to a previous firmware? Is the voice still silent? In this case I would contact Sequential ... they will help. If the voice returns then ... that's weird. In this case I would try loading version 1.75 again.

Since I couldn‘t find any old firmware links, maybe you or anyone knows where to find them?

I usually save firmware versions in case I have to backdate for some reason. I’m not at my desktop at the moment but will check later to see what I have and pm you.

Downgrading and calabrating at versions 1.6.3, 1.6.6 and 1.6.7 didn‘t help. Still it is very likely to be a software issue in my opinion. All voices worked perfectly fine before the update. One very odd thing is, that L2 is other than every other L blinking during the process of calibration. So I think something’s wrong with the second low pass filter.

Am in contact with the sequential support and will keep you posted.

After writing with the Sequential support, I was deinstalling and installing the bad voice card as well as I swapped the faulty one with a working one afterwards Still the same issue but on a different (the swapped) port then.

Guessing for a broken voice card. Am wondering how a software change could cause this.
