Some patches' arpeggiator have a strange behavior that I don't understand. Let's say I load the patch 91 "Finale" from bank 1 of P08 official patches. I turn the arpeggiator on and press a key; it sounds like the divide is at 16th but, if I look at it, it shows 8. I turn the divide knob one position left and one right, getting back on the 8. When I press a key, it plays a "normal" 8th, not like the first one, when I just loaded the patch.
If i press compare while showing the divide parameter, the data entry doesn't change, staying on 8th (and it's the only parameter I changed after loading). Nevertheless, the audible speed of the arpeggiator changes radically, going from a fast one while compare is on, to a regular 8th when off.
Can someone help me to understand what is happening here?
