Multi Mode Control

Hey All,

I am wondering how everyone is controlling multi mode. Specifically, how are you changing patches for the second layer? As far as I know this isn't possible on the synth itself and it would need to be sent from midi program control messages. Is there a way to save this on a per track basis?

Also what is the best way to record parameter automation into a daw? Is there a way to natively do this in Live by creating a midi cc map with a generic controller of sorts?
