It's done! ... almost 7 months of hard work and a lot of insight into sound design later, my first bank has been released for purchase
I hope you will enjoy these sounds. There are 128 of them, and I made them primarily for my own needs, but I'm certain that some of the sounds will be of use to others. The sounds are mainly targeted toward Ambient and Fantasy music, but other experimental types of electronic music might also be likely candidates for these sounds. So don't come afterwards and ask where all the typical "four on the floor" type sounds are, because they are not!
The sounds have been properly categorized, and all program names have a three character prefix, that designate the category they belong to. They are all sorted alphabetically, both in category and names, all for ease of use.
There will be an installation READ_ME.txt file that comes with the bank that tells you about the bank in more detail. Also, there will be provided 8 files in total, each one writing the sounds to a different bank (including all four factory banks, if one should want those erased). The READ_ME.txt file also include a full list of all the programs, and an explanation of all the sound categories.
An audio demo is planned for later, with a video to go along with it (YouTube), but if you are not familiar with how the programs sound, then look take a look in my other thread "The REV2 is a deep and capable synth".. .there are loads of demos in that thread that you can listen to, until my video demo is up.
After checking out PayPal for fees and stuff, the final price for the bank will be 40 US dollar, or 35 EURO... I can only accept payment via PayPal, but I believe that should not be a problem
If you are interested in buying the soundbank, just write me a Private Message her eon the forum, giving me your email address, and I will request a payment to you... and when the payment has been received, I'll send the bank to you via the same email address. That is as easy as it gets
Please!, when you pay for the sound bank, could you please write the email address you want the bank sent to, in the comment field when you pay? This makes it a lot easier for me to keep track of what email I should send the soundbank file to
If you have any questions regarding the bank, just write them here in this thread and I'll see what I can do.
