Rev 2 midi help

Rev 2 midi help

So I've been having oddities since purchasing, but it really has been to much an issue. Normally I use a master midi keyboard to control my rev2  but I am away traveling and just brought my rev 2 to use as a controller and a module it self. When recording midi ( using usb or midi) all midi notes appear as super short lengthed notes not matter how long I hold a note for. Any idea on the remedy?

I don't know why that is happening for you.
When I record midi (until now always via USB) it works as expected.
If you use your rev2 as controller for that other device, could the other device reply something causing some kind of midi loop?

Which software are you using to record your midi?

Going into reason, FL studio and reaper. All of them behave the same. I'm going directly into a vst so I'm not really sure how a loop could occur

Could it be that there is some kind of note length quantization?

I don't think so. I've got nothing set for it. I'm going to try and sysex it later and check the data.
