free way to organize patches?

free way to organize patches?

Is there any way to organize patch banks other than saving each patch individually or purchasing soundtower/synthet? I am just wanting to re-order my patches....I have seen laser mammoth and might try that but would prefer a software alternative.....   :)

I wrote this on their Facebook-page.

"This is a great tool! However, I suspect the Rev2-support has some bugs. When I clicked on a program to preview the sound, it did not always load the correct program. So I deleted and reorganized programs based on what I heard which caused some mess. Also, when I deleted the bank "Rev 2 / Bank 3" and then requested the programs for the same bank, it froze the latest version of Opera. I did this twice and it froze both times."

As for the preview-bug, I think this is a Rev2-bug and not F0F7-bug as the issue is exactly the same when using Soundtower Prophet Rev2 sound editing software. Some presets don't sound as they should when they are previewed in the edit buffer. I am not talking about small differences in sound. Sometimes a preset is played only when pressing some of the keys and the init sound when pressing other keys. And the next time you press a key that played the preset sound it can play the init sound and vice versa. I just wanted you to know about this.

Question for long term forum users:
Should I stop writing posts about (possible) bugs/issues here and only write support tickets to DSI instead? I mean, some issues are perhaps only relevant to very few people and most people may think of these posts as spam?
