How to fix Prophet 06 module sequencer - HELP!
« on: August 04, 2017, 09:38:11 PM »
Hey guys!

Just setting up my prophet 06 module in Cubase 9 (64bit / Windows 10)

I've managed to get everything synced within cubase (aprs / seqeuencer) via midi cables no usb but whenever i stop my
project and press play it starts the p6 sequencer, its super annoying.

I just want it the sequencer to be setup so if i want to use it, i press the play button on p6 then start cubase. not always starting in cubase.

Any help would be great! :-* <3

Matthew.

I am having the same issue, even with midi set to NSS (I think that's what it is called)

Setting the MIDI Clock global parameter to "nSS" will sync the synth to incoming MIDI clock, but ignore MIDI Start/Stop commands. Most DAWs will send a MIDI Start command by default when you initiate playback. So, if you do not wish for the Prophet 6's sequencer to start in this context, either disable the transmission of the MIDI Start in your DAW--if it has this capability--or set the Prophet 6's MIDI Clock global as listed above.

slamelza, are you running the latest operating system in your Prophet 6? It's v1.4.0 and can be found here: http://www.davesmithinstruments.com/updating-the-prophet-6-os/
