Holding chords - hold function?

Hey!

Is there anyway that I can play a note/chord, sustaining it with the hold function, and then when i press a new note/chord, it flawlessly transitions to the new note/chord and sustains that one instead?

Hold down a chord and hit the unison button. This will allow a single chord to be played with one finger on the root note. Hit the hold button to sustain it. That's really the only way I can think of unless you get a sustain pedal.
