Need help with midi

I just got ob-6 sound module for
Christmas but I'm having a problem
With hooking up midi.

I want to run keystep keyboard into
The ob6 and run the ob6 into
To the tempest and have tempest
Record the ob6 when I play the keystep but the keystep is not recording ob6 into the tempest can someone help me figure this thing out please

MIDI does not record audio.  Thats what it sounds like you are trying.

I'm trying to record ob-6 midi into
The tempest but I want the keystep keyboard to trigger the ob-6 and then
Record midi into the tempest from the ob6 I'm not trying to record audio.

Got it to work now I can play my ob-6
With the keystep and have the notes
Record into the tempest while the tempest trigger the ob6 notes
