You usually manage that in your sequencer on a per-track basis or filter globally. The OB-6 always sends program changes.

Unfortunately not from the synth but you usually can turn program changes on/off. I know on my P12 and my p08's i can as well as My Roland Fa08, my Moogs etc can as well. Maybe they can add this feature in an update.
