I've been developing
Libra6, an unofficial (but hopefully useful!) patch librarian and editor for the Sequential OB-6. In short, it lets you:
- Read and visually browse your full 1,000-preset collection (banks 0-9), search/tag/favorite patches, and detect duplicates
- Audition patches in the OB-6's edit buffer without touching preset memory
- Reorganize your banks safely (drag/copy/move, with backups and read-back verification before anything permanent is written)
- Edit sounds and the sequencer directly on your synth, with snapshots, A/B compare, and undo/redo throughout
It's built for macOS (Apple Silicon) as an standalone app and connects over direct USB MIDI.
I'd love to connect with someone who has a
Mac and the
OB-6 Keyboard version who'd be up for beta testing it (I have the Desktop version). As a thank-you for the effort, I'd give you the license for free. Maybe also I would be able to port it to Windows (but not now).
