Prophet 10 Rev4 Global Local Settings

The buttons on my P10 do not change/work if Global Local is set to OFF
And sustain pedal does not activate hold light.

But they will start working if my DAW is launched.

I’m guessing this is normal.
Can anyone confirm ?  Thank you.

Here are the setups and results I have tried:

P10 rev4 Local set to OFF
USB connected to computer
DAW not open
P10 Buttons do not work
Sustain pedal not activating hold

USB disconnected to computer
No computer being used
P10 Buttons do not work
Sustain pedal not activating hold

what firmware are you using?   If it happened to me I would back up anything I wanted saved in MIDI OX and restore a firmware like Firmware from late 2021 which I still use I never updated and never have problems except buttons getting old and have to be pushed the 5 times the manual states in the automatic cleaning instruction.

Thank you 558.  My P10 is using all the current OS, firmware.  Sequential has confirmed this is normal operation.  IN other words, everything is working as it should.
