Looks like a CTRLR panel. Not sure what the 2nd link does looks like it won't work with my current ESR version of Firefox. You can run this in CTRLR as a panel? Or what?

I can't find the vst of CTRLR I have used for so long on that github page of the original CTRLR. Looks like there's a .sh file wtf? Anyway you can find it on a sourceforge link
https://sourceforge.net/projects/ctrlr-org-archiv/Although many CTRLR .panel files --and there are a lot of them made by different people-- seem notoriously glitchy and unusable, I did have a lot of luck with the ones made by MartintarinskeenNL for the Refaces (
https://ctrlr.martintarenskeen.nl/ ). They just keep getting better and better over the years. So if you have a Yamaha Reface you'll want to be checking those out.
There are some made by a guy selling them for 5 bucks that I didn't find to be all that great. Other ones that are free, that I didn't find to be all that great.
Would seem that the trick is to make them actually do what you want when connected and to connect properly. However with the Prophet you are always working with the limitation that it uses Class Compliance as its USB MIDI driver but that is only a problem in Windows (any changes in that over the last few years? I doubt it...) (Yes I capitalized "Class Compliance" because I don't think that it means what they think it means or what people think it means and therefore instead of quotes it is simpler if I just treat it as a proper noun).

You select the MIDI in and out (or thru I suppose if that's something that you know what you're doing with which I still don't get it really myself, MIDI thru I guess that seems pretty dumb but some things make sense like the Prophet's thru brings some midi sent to the prophet, thru to whatever else... while others make little sense like most of these ctrlr panels thru option or for instance the really cryptic Yamaha MIDI driver for Yamaha keyboards (recently updated to version 3.1.5! and without which YAMAHA synths would be only using brainless class compliance as well thank yu very much Yamaha for that gem, see the only reason it even exists is cause it's from the days before windows class compliance but I digress) which has a diagram of MIDI in and out 4x4 and the thru option that makes very little sense there if you can explain that I'd be all ears). Then you can run your MIDI from across the room with a long cable or with a network MIDI program like RTPMIDI from Tobias Erichsen from the computer you are at, to a computer that is connected to the synth.
I have used CTRLR panels for Refaces, and the JP08. Never had one for Prophet. I see lots for the Prophet 6 but not the Prophet.
