If Sequential were to use the current panel layout directly for the modular version, that would likely be the fastest approach in terms of scheduling. Since some digital pianos lack pitch/modulation wheels, having them is really convenient. I hope there’s a way to compensate for the absence of the distinctive keyboard found on the original FOURM. With the modular versions, I’d probably have to use a pedal instead of a wheel, but wheels offer better control. I suppose this might be a niche opinion. Maybe I should just build a dedicated MIDI controller with wheels myself? I could use a small synth that already has wheels, of course, but personally, having them built-in is just so handy.
Well, the keyboard version has a wheel, so I guess it's fine.
It would be interesting if they implemented Poly-Chain for the Prophet-5 Rev4, too.
It’s not cheap, but I think it still holds a lot of wonderful possibilities.
