Hi folks. After many years of searching, I finally have my Prophet X.
So, I was incredibly disappointed when my first boot gave me the dreaded “Cannot reach audio processor”.
I’d been reading the forum in preparation and checked the 2032 battery — 3 volts on the nose. I restarted and it booted fine. I was happily swimming in the new‑sample kingdom when I got a high‑pitched squeal and then the interface froze. Bah…
I have a support ticket in, but being a nosey parker, I reseated all of the headers, the ATX connectors, and the PCI bridge. Success. It appears to be happy now. I’m sure cargo transit isn’t ideal for a sophisticated device like this.
Are there any obvious sanity checks I can perform before I commit to it?
