Hello. I apologize if I'm using synth terms like "envelope" incorrectly. I'm new to synths, but I love my Prophet 10. I usually use it under MIDI control from Logic Pro, where I use features like the Step Sequencer and piano roll to create chords that the Prophet 10 plays.
However, an issue started last night. Previously, with the step sequencer and midi piano roll, when I created a new MIDI note or chord, my Prophet 10 understood that I wanted to retrigger the envelope. Just to be clear, up until last night, the envelope would retrigger with each MIDI note, even when the new MIDI note came at the exact same spot the previous one ended. Every new MIDI note triggered a new envelope. So, using the step sequencer as pictured, each new "step" would retrigger the envelope. Similarly, when I would play new notes in the piano roll that triggered simultaneously when the old ntoes ended, this would retrigger the envelope. That is what I wanted.
However, something changed last night. Maybe I pressed a button that changed it, I'm not sure. But now, when I use the step sequencer, my prophet does not reset the envelope with each new consecutive note. Even when MIDI is triggering new consecutive notes, the Prophet just plays it as one long note. It's not retriggering anymore, at least when the new note is played simultaneouslyl to the old note ending. I'm not sure if this issue is coming from my Prophet, or from the MIDI commands from Logic. But I cannot seem to figure out how to fix it.
How can I get my synth back to automatically retriggering the envelope each time a key receives a new MIDI note? even if that note comes exactly as the previous keypress/MIDI note ends.
