Oberheim OB-X8 LFO modulation rate to MIDI sync.

Hello!

I'm quite new to the world of analog synthesizers, especially of the concept of MIDI information.

I would like to know if it is possible through an external drum machine, such as the Roland TR-1000, to synchronize the LFO rate of the modulation section in some way with the tempo of the drum machine.

I've been seeing that with the new version, 2.0 it should be possible, but I'm unable to find it. All I find is to synchronize it with the arpeggiator. Yes, if you go to the GLOBAL menu, page 10, there is the ARP Clock section, and in theory that's how the CLOCK of the entire synthesizer works. I've configured it to MIDI In DIN since I use the midi cable to receive the information, but I can't see very clearly if it respects the tempo of the drum machine.

I especially like the S/H wave and it would be amazing to be able to synchronize it to sixteenth notes or eighth notes and not have to do it by touch since it is practically impossible to adjust and if you wanted to go from one subdivision to another you would completely lose the reference.
