hi there ,

any trigon owners who know much about its output level. Is it supposed to me lower than other sequential synths?

i noticed compared to my prophet 6 module , i need to gain it up a bit on my desk by like 5 db + a bot sometimes to patch the prophet

I don’t have any specific numbers, so this is more of a vague and subjective data point. But it is kind of the opposite of what you are seeing. I have a Prophet 6 keyboard (perhaps 8 years old) and a Trigon 6 module (maybe 2 years old). My thoughts have always been that the Trigon’s output levels are higher than the Prophet. I typically have the volume/gain knob on the Prophet at max (100%) and the Trigon at about 75%. Although one other difference is that I have the Trigon routed through an Eventide H90 while the Prophet is routed through a couple of Strymon pedals. I think that the “average” preset (stock or custom) on the Eventide H90 adds more gain than Strymon pedals.
