I understand why the enter-then-exit global menu was used for setting the startup patch on the Sequential synths that had limited displays; however, for the synths in the lineup which have a screen and good visual feedback in the menu system, wouldn’t it make much more sense to have a dedicated menu item for specifying the startup patch? This would mean users wouldn’t accidentally change it and would not have to always remember to set it again after each use of the global menu. It would also reduce instances of writing to the flash memory, which would increase its lifespan.
Please consider adding a dedicated menu item for startup patch for all Sequential synths that have a screen.
