Anyone ideas why this is working faulty?

Hi there,

when I'm performing a Pgm Dump from my Prophet 6 to my DAW (Press 'Globals' button twice, press button 8, then 'Write'), it switches back to the original stored patch, and all  my edits are gone.

The original patch is then send through sysex to my DAW, but not the edited patch.
Anyone ideas why this is working faulty?

Program/bank/all dumps export whatever is saved in memory. If you make edits to a patch, you will need to save it first prior to dumping. Keep in mind that banks 0-4 can be overwritten/edited, while banks 5-9 are permanent factory banks that cannot be overwritten locally.

If you want to export the current state of the synth, you may want to look into edit buffer dumps'. Similar to program dumps, edit buffer dumps send a sysex snapshot of the synth.
