Prophet 6 and Logic Pro: Recording the P6 individual MIDI Notes into Logic

I searched , but didn't seem to find this specifically, in archives. I just added the P6 to my setup. I'm noticing when I record into Logic Pro 12, I am not getting the individual MIDI notes of the P6's Arp. I read on here somewhere that a past update may have fixed this. Had to do with settings in Global/ Param Xmit and choosing either NAS, or CAS.
The geek I am, I immediately updated to 1.7.5,  I stayed up late the past few nights trying to troubleshoot this. Per accident, last night I happened to switch something that made the Arp notes record, but then it either wouldn't play back, or else I'd get an apparent feedback loop type of snafu.
My apologies if this is a much discussed past issue and well resolved here , but I just joined yesterday, and my search efforts  just didn't produce desired results.
When I saw this forum on Sequential's site , I was like "oh Thank God". 😂
If someone could please help me make sense of this, I would be extremely grateful.
It's worth mentioning , this is the first time I've ever had more than one outboard synth in play. Im using USB for the P6  Moog , and MIDI din for the JV80. Just to be safe , and rule out any mixed messages , I disconnected the Moog and JV80.

Hi John,
I use this interface and it works fine.

Try setting Param Xmit to CAS so the arp sends actual note data, and make sure Local Control is off to avoid the feedback loop. Also check that Logic isn’t echoing MIDI back to the P6 on the same channel.

I don't use Logic but I did just test, using a midi monitor, whether or not the P6 arp outputs individual notes ... it does. The only setup parameter that seems to matter is midi out (mine is usb but DIN should work). The other midi parameter can be on or off afaik. However you might want to try what jesse2 posted above.
