Alternative Tunings, loading my own files onto the OB-X8 - how exactly?

Hi there,
I had a Prophet 6 many years ago and am considering getting the OB-X8 now. On the P6 I had to edit the MTS .syx file in a HEX Editor to uplad the tuning, which was a bit tedious … Is this still the same procedure on the OB-X8?
The manual says "If you want, you can replace these with other
tunings that you can find on the Internet. These must be in SysEx format.
You can download them into the OB-X8 using SysEx Librarian"

- but how exactly does that work? Do I just upload the .syx file as it is, and will I be asked which slot it should overwrite? Or will I have to edit it first in a HEX Editor?
Thanks!

I received an answer from Oberheim. The procedure is as it was back then. In case anyone's interested, here's how to do it:
