Hello,
I am currently sending my brand new Sequential Pro 3 for repair for the second time through Thomann (EU).
Issue:
Very loud sustained white noise (~30 dB) appears as soon as the unit is powered via the supplied power brick. The noise goes directly into my audio interface and makes the synth unusable in a studio environment.
Timeline:
- Purchased new in October 2025
- First repair report: “Temporary short circuit on motherboard fixed, test run passed.”
- One week after return (last week), the exact same issue reappeared
- Now being sent for a second repair
Troubleshooting already performed:
- Multiple audio cables
- Different audio inputs
- Single isolated power source
- Same studio setup works perfectly with ~10 other synths
Result is identical every time - loud sustained white noise immediately when powered.
Given that the defect has reappeared after a prior repair, I would sincerely appreciate Sequential’s assistance in identifying a definitive and lasting solution. The instrument is currently unusable in a professional studio context, and resolving this issue is very important to me.
Because a replacement unit has not been offered by Thomann so far, I am concerned that if this repair fails again I may continue losing one to two months each time in repeated service cycles. I would very much appreciate guidance by Sequential team toward a definitive solution.
Thank you.
