Playing piano sounds on the Prophet X/XL

Playing piano sounds on the Prophet X/XL

Hello, I am thinking of buying a Prophet X soon. I would like to ask you two questions because I can't find the answers anywhere.

First of all, I played on a Prophet X this morning. I'm disappointed with the X's keyboard, which I find inferior to those offered by Yamaha or Roland. The velocity is difficult to control, especially for pianissimo nuances. Is the XL's keyboard identical, but larger, or is it better suited for playing piano sounds?
Second, I was only able to play the piano sounds that come with the Prophet, not those from the additional 8DI library. I'm disappointed. The sounds are a mixture of samples with other samples, like whipped cream. What about the additional 8DI libraries? Are they more playable? Have you found or created any other piano libraries?

I understand the concept of the Prophet X. I like it and I think I understand it, but sometimes I'll need to play piano on it on stage. I'm fine with creating my own piano sound with a mix of samples, oscillators via the modulation shaker, FM, and filters. But I need solid piano samples to start with.
Also, what does “deep sampling” mean in relation to the 8DI library, adapted for the Prophet X?

Thank you very much.

If you want a piano type feel....get a stage piano. The Prophet X is a synth. It doesn't have the polyphony, the keybed or the architecture you are looking for in traditional pianos.

Don't get something and then get upset that it's not something else.

Thanks. I have one, but it can't reproduce synthesizer sounds like the Prophet does. That's why I'm asking. I don't need a perfect piano but a good piano to play on. I don't need too much polyphony. I like the idea of being able to modify piano sounds like those of a synthesizer on stage.
