Backed out of the Beta: No Filter Cutoff issue

Backed out of the Beta: No Filter Cutoff issue

I just backed out of the latest Beta. I was not getting any filter cutoff. The cutoff knob response came back when I reverted to 1.1.0.4. I did the upgrade and downgrade twice to confirm. I don't seem to have any hardware issues.

While my TEO-5 was on 'beta', I tried routing the global LFO1 and the mod wheel to cutoff and it seemed to be pitch modding instead. I also calibrated everything I could and repeated these mod's with no impact. I used the It's an Oberheim patch to check.

Hi Maury,

These functions are working as expected on the latest beta on both the keyboard and module, in normal and poly chain config. It is worth noting that many functions are limited while in the Global menu.

If you are able to update again, I would recommend testing with no MIDI/USB attached to see if you can repro the problem. Would be great to know if we are missing something in our testing.

Feel free to reach out to support@oberheim.com as well if you ever run into problems like this and we can help you out.

Aha! And the cutoff knob is one of them! Tricky but I am curious why is it unresponsive in Global whereas some of the others are not? Are they too un another mode when in Global?

I'll have to check with our software team, I believe it has to do with how our parameters are structured. Many functions (like Sysex transfers) do not work when in the Global menu - this is the case on all of our instruments.
