I didn't see a topic like this, so here it is.
First, I am a proud owner of a TEO-5. It really sounds and feels like on Oberheim. The build is spectacular and the ability to modulate EFX params shoots it past many other EFX laden synths But there are a few things that would make it more musical. And it seems all of them could be addressed in software. Here's a few thoughts that aren't too much of a stretch for a software develper.
- Visual feedback on the display of the parameter values. Both for performance and for reverse engineering a preset
**Top need imho**
- Step editing of a recorded sequence
- Variable control over the number of steps in the sequence during playback
- Mod values per step in the sequence (this allowed 4 voice Elktron instruments punch above their weight).
- Polychain (I'll buy the module if it shows up)
- double clicking the noise button to switch from white to pink
interested in other thoughts.
