OB-6 Start Up Question

Hello!
I just received my OB-6 synthesizer. When I power it on using the switch, I hear a thud or click from my monitors, and the synth's lights flash on and then off before settling on the usual illuminated settings. Is this normal? If it's not, how can I troubleshoot this issue?

This is expected behavior. We recommend muting your mixer/input/channel/speakers when powering the OB-6 on.
