OB-X8 plus TEO-5 Module

Are there any OB-X8 owners who also have a TEO-5 ?  Do you find the TEO-5 can give you more of a sonic palette because of the Modulation Matrix ?

Or do you find owning a TEO-5 is redundant already owning an OB-X8

I considered getting a TEO5 but since I already have the OBX8 and am saving for a P10 Rev4 I considered it redundant although from what I’ve read the TEO5 has a different sound due to its synth architecture The  demos I’ve heard sound good.  I know the TEO5 is a different form factor and different price point compared to the OBX8 although I prefer 61 keys  to the TEO5s 44 keys.  Cool that the TEO5 has onboard effects.

  I have the Prophet 10 Rev 4 and you will love it.  I went with the TEO-5 desktop and it is also great.

There’s no right or wrong here, just a matter of taste. Personally I’m happy with OB-X8 and P5 rev 4 (with extra voice board). OB-X8 plus TEO-5 is not my first choice, still it can be the perfect combo for others. Good luck with your setup and music!
