Rev2 owners -do you have a Take 5, is it a good combo?

I'm thinking about getting a Take 5 to go with my Rev2, because the filters are quite different.
Take 5 would be for more up-front sounds, Rev2 is great for sitting in the mix or in the background.
Do you have this duo and is it worth getting the Take 5 for this reason?
I was also considering the Teo-5 for similar reasons.

So I got a Take 5 and wow! This thing is amazing. It really delivers that Prophet 5-esque sound.
I have a Rev2, Pro-3 and Prologue, but the Take 5 brings something different to the party. It gives me a sound that I realize I've been trying to get my Rev2 and Prologue to make. The Pro-3 4-Pole OTA filter is similar to the Take 5 but even only having that 5 voice polyphony is great. I don't even feel limited by only 5 voices, because the sound is so full.
Prologue will probably be sold now, but then I'll just have 3 Sequential synths which is a bit weird. I guess it's been a series of knock-out matches in the studio and Sequential has consistently come out on top, so kudos to them and Dave Smith.

The Take 5 is an excellent choice to pair with your REV2. The distinct filters and core tones mean they will complement each other rather than compete. The Take 5 will provide the "up-front" punch you're looking for, while the REV2 will continue to handle your background and complex sounds with ease.

What specific features or sounds of the Take 5 do you find most complementary to the Rev2?
How do they enhance your overall music production experience?

If the Prologue is no longer the signature sound in your studio and is just taking up space, selling it to invest in other gear or simply clean up your system is a sensible move. You have a great Sequential system with the Rev2, Pro-3, and now Take 5. Together, they offer a wide range of sounds, from the versatile digital/analog hybrid sound of the Rev2 to the powerful mono-synth sound of the Pro-3, and now the classic, full-bodied Prophet 5 sound of the Take 5. Enjoy your new system!

The main difference between the Take5 and Rev2, for me, is the filter.
The Rev2 has a sound that to me sounds 'polite' and 'sweet' and sits in a mix really well, doesn't stick out. Great for pads and keys, polysynth stuff.
The Take5 is more 'up-front', basically seems to have a lot more presence in the mid-range frequencies, but that's just a basic way of describing it. Good for cutting through a mix, when I need to 'make a statement'.
So it was definitely the right choice, and I have decided the Prologue is really surplus to requirements now.
