Sequential Prophet X Sound Inconsistent When Changing Patches

Hi everyone,

I am using Sequential Prophet X and have recently encountered a sound issue. When I switch between patches, the sound is inconsistent, sometimes there is an echo or uneven clarity between patches. I have tried adjusting parameters like reverb and chorus but have not found a solution yet.

Has anyone in the community encountered a similar situation? I would love to know if there is a way to synchronize the sound between patches or fix this issue. Thanks everyone!

Hi,

Sounds like a synced delay FX is catching up, which would be normal. Maybe you can record and so we can listen.

I think we'd need to hear a recording, but the only times I've noticed something that could be what you describe is on patches with delay active or sometimes the aux envelopes glitch for a second when mapped to pitch.

Yeah, I’ve run into similar issues on the Prophet X — especially when switching between patches that use different FX settings or sample layers. Sometimes the tails from reverb or delay seem to bleed through, causing that echo or weird inconsistency. I found that turning off FX before switching helps a bit, but honestly, a global FX reset or patch normalization option would be a game-changer.
