Is this a bug in gated sequencer, tracks are not synced by random

I only used gated sequencer for modulation but tried notes this time.

Short story
- using two tracks in gated sequencer, freerunning no R/G, same length
- pausing with no notes on/dn for a bit it does not keep these in sync
- quite random, sometimes they are sometimes not

Longer story and details to reproduce
- mode no G/R, and gated sequencer on
- track 1, freqosc1, steps C0, D0, E0 Reset
- track 2, freqosc2, steps G0, A0, B0 Reset
- bpm 60, divide half note, so I can hear properly

If starting with a basic program, turn mix knob to middle, and turn on osc 2.
- this so both oscillators are heard

Once playing a note they start playing in sync.
But having all keys up for some seconds these fifths does not sync up.
Sometimes one track is ahead of the other, sometimes in sync.

They should always play a fifth interval if in sync.

So seems they are not synced properly while silent and free running.
