Voices out of pitch by using x-mod

Voices out of pitch by using x-mod
« on: May 13, 2025, 12:38:57 PM »
I am having pitch issues using the x-mod, every key sounds different. Without x-mod the oscillators sound fine.

The Osc 2 Tri Xmod setting in Page 2 is set to 0.

I am using firmware 2.01 and did a full calibration as mentioned by Oberheim. Is there a solution for this?

It is not a bug.  X-Mod from the front panel duplicates the implementation used in the vintage OB-X, which has the same behavior.  It is best used in unison mode.

If you want all the voices to have the same pitch, use Osc 2 Tri Mod under page 2.

Thanks for your post, didn't know that. Good tip also to use unison here.
Much appreciated!
