Controlling Rev 2 Sequencer with Korg Sq1

Hi people
My question is: can the sequencer on the Rev 2 be controlled by an external seq ( as the Korg Sq 1)?.i ve read thay maybe only with its voices in Uníson... on the other hand, i only see a CV input on the rear side, no news of Gate..

The Rev2's internal polyphonic step sequencer is primarily designed to be synchronized via MIDI clock. You typically cannot send CV or Gate signals from an external source (like the CV/Gate outputs of the Korg SQ-1) to directly "trigger" or "advance" the steps of the Rev2's own built-in sequencer. The Rev2's sequencer relies on either the internal clock or an external MIDI clock to run.

Yes, the Rev2’s sequencer can be clocked externally via MIDI from something like the SQ-1, but you can’t drive it directly with CV/Gate since it only has a CV input for modulation, not for triggering notes.
