I'm looking to add a second synth to my collection, was considering a subsequent 37 but since the Trigon already has sort of a moog sound I wasnt sure if I should pull the trigger or not.
Great question! Since the Trigon-6 already has that rich Moog-style tone, pairing it with something that brings a contrasting sound might give you more versatility. The Subsequent 37 is an awesome synth, but it might overlap a bit sonically.
If you're looking to expand your palette, something like the OB-6 (for that SEM filter sweetness), the Hydrasynth (for deep digital modulation and textures), or even a Udo Super 6 (huge stereo and wavetable power) could really complement the Trigon well. Depends on the kind of music you’re making, but I'd definitely lean toward something that covers ground the Trigon doesn’t.
