TEO Ableton Issue

TEO Ableton Issue
« on: March 17, 2025, 02:42:03 PM »
Hi there,

I was hoping that I could post about an issue that I have been having.

It seems to mainly happen when I am using the Teo with Ableton (connected via USB Midi). If I go to tinker with a custom made preset, save it, and then attempt to move to another patch, it gets stuck on the last patch loaded and remains this way until I reset GLOBAL as per the troubleshooting guide.

I am up to date on all firmware. I am on Ableton 12 and it's usually when I am working with MIDI. My partner thinks it is Ableton sending MIDI data that might be triggering the bug.

Is this something that is known and will be corrected in a future update?

This sounds like a setup issue and/or a MIDI feedback loop. Check out the links below and search this forum for some good info on dealing with feedback loops in Ableton. You might also set the TEO program send and receive globals to off.
