Silent hissing from OB-6 panel

Hello,

I've had my OB-6 for a few years now, but only recently, after a while, I noticed a constant hissing noise coming from the control panel or from under the hood. I can't pinpoint the source, as it seems to stay the same no matter where I put my ear. It sounds a bit like carbonation escaping from a loosely closed soda bottle.

I've googled similar experiences but haven't found anything comparable.

Does anyone here recognize this type of noise and know what causes it? I can't say if it's always been there and I've only just noticed it.

My guess is it’s the power supply.  Next time I have my OB-6 module on I’ll put my ear up to it and see if I hear the same thing.
