Drone Mode for the P10

I would like to suggest an implementation of sorts of the Drone mode on the original Prophet 10. Current FW does not address this (2.0.6).

1) Hold and sustain the notes you wish to drone.
2) Press the Release/Hold until it flashes.
3) The notes are now droning on. Press the Release Foot Switch and hold.
4) Play the new notes they will release normally and not be sustained and/or added to the drone.
5) Releasing the foot switch continues to drone the original notes. Add more notes if you wish to the drone.
6) Pressing the Release/Hold returns you to a normal mode.

“Drone mode”? By what you describe, a sostenuto pedal would do the trick. Unfortunately, this controller message does not seem to be implemented on the rev 4. But that’s basically what you’re asking for. Certainly, this would be a nice addition on many synths. The EE Osmose has it.
