Mopho X4 Envelope Attack Times Variation Issue

Mopho X4 Envelope Attack Times Variation Issue

I was playing about with some long attack time pads and noticed that for some as yet unknown reason, two voices were peaking several seconds late.

I began to investigate and have determined that it's only the attack times on voices 1 and 3 and the problem exists on all 3 envelopes. Furthermore, it isn't noticeable at fast attack times but it seems to scale exponentially so that when set to around 5 seconds or so, 1 & 3 are approximately 1.5 seconds behind the other two.

I've done a factory reset of globals and tested using an initialised patch and it is still occurring. It doesn't seem to make any sense as I thought the envelopes were generated digitally and the CV signals sent to their respective destinations. Unfortunately I don't have any schematics for the Mopho or Prophet 08 so haven't been able to look too closely at the problem.

Any thoughts would be greatly welcomed!

I have a follow up to my initial post.
I contacted the Sequential support team and they eventually confirmed that their Mopho x4 also displays the same attack time offsets on voices 1 and 3. It must be a bug no-one has thus far noticed.
It does beg the question though as to whether there are offset attack times on the other DSI synths.
If anyone has a Prophet 08, Tetra or any of the other Mophos, try holding down a chord using all the voices with a resonant filter sweep and see if the attack times are staggered. As the envelopes are exponential, this offset gets wider the slower the attack setting and at around a value of 120 there's about 3 seconds difference.
At least now I know my X4 isn't faulty!
