buttons not working correctly

It has been a couple months since I played my P6. I turned it on yesterday and immediately noticed that all the program select buttons as well as the bank selects are behaving strangely. For program buttons, I have to press the buttons very hard to get them to work. If I try to bank select and increment patches, it can give me random behavior where nothing happens or the patches jump around randomly. I rebooted the machine several times, but it had no effect.

I'd also try saving your current presets before experimenting with any updates or settings changes. It makes it a lot easier to compare behaviour and roll back if something doesn't work as expected. Hopefully this helps anyone else who runs into the same thing.
