Soundtower editor question

Soundtower editor question

Hi I have been using the editor for about a week. I have 2 questions:

Is the easiest way to save the current programme you are editing to the Rev2 only by transmitting the whole bank? I cant see another option such as transmit programme.

I would like to move 60 programmes from U1 to spare slots in U4 (e.g. from U1. nos. 60-128 to U4 nos 60-128).
What is the easiest way to do this in one go/bulk transfer?

Thanks

Saving Current Program to the Rev2: The easiest way to save a single program you're editing to the Rev2 is indeed by transmitting the whole bank. Unfortunately, there isn't a direct "transmit program" option that only transfers a single program, so you’ll need to send the entire bank of programs. However, you can do this with more precision by selecting the specific program you’re working on in the editor and then saving it into the bank.

Bulk Transfer of Programs (Moving from U1 to U4): The easiest way to move multiple programs in bulk from one bank to another (e.g., from U1. nos. 60-128 to U4 nos. 60-128) is to use a bulk dump or bulk load option in the editor, which will allow you to transfer multiple patches at once. Here’s a simplified process:

Select the programs you want to move (in this case, U1. 60-128).
Copy them to the clipboard or into the bulk transfer area of the editor.
Select the target location (U4. 60-128).
Initiate the bulk transfer to overwrite the current programs in U4 with the ones from U1.

A common workaround is to manually write/save the patch directly on the Rev2 itself after making edits. You can do this by pressing the "Write" button on the synth and selecting a destination.
