Oscillator 2 pitch shift causes tremolo effect?

When I am detuning oscillator 2 using the pitch knob, either on positive or negative side, I get an amplitude oscillation, ie a tremolo effect. Why is this happening? I would expect that osc 2 will just change pitch compared to osc 1 and that’s it. I get a very strong tremolo though. Thoughts? F

Example: factory preset 500. Load it and just turn pitch knob to the right by one or two notches. Tremolo.

Apologies if I've misunderstood your question but it sounds like you're describing the "beating" effect when two oscillators are slightly detuned?

I also use synth and sometimes encounter the same phenomenon. It may be due to the interaction between the oscillators inside the synth. When you change the pitch of oscillator 2, it can affect other parameters such as amplitude, creating a tremolo effect. You can try checking other settings such as wave shaping, filter, LFO to see if there is any interaction.
