Downgrading an Update

Downgrading an Update

Any issues with downgrading from Main OS 2.0.4 and Panel OS 1.1.3 back to Main OS 2.0.1 and Panel OS 1.1.1?

I updated to the latest OS April 2023 and then spent a couple months emailing Focusrite on why I was getting stuck midi notes.  I gave up and have now decided to try again and really screw up my P10 because I can't take it anymore and I frankly don't care if I brick it.

Downgrading and then re-upgrading is the only thing left I can think of to try.  There were issues with my update on 2.0.4 and 1.1.3 so I have always been convinced that was the issue.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I tried multiple times using Midiox and DIN cables and also tried USB and even bootloader mode.  Did not fix my stuck note issue.

The 1.1.3 Panel update zips up pretty quick in count from 000 to 100 and then the screen is blank for about 10 seconds where it should be doing the countdown from 10 to 0.  The 2.0.4 Main update seems to work like normal.

The synth says it's updated to 2.0.4 and 1.1.3 and the new functionality is there.

The midi files coming from Cubase work fine sending it to my other synths.  Just the P10 and this started when I first updated to the newest OS.

The 1.1.3 Panel update flashes up quickly, counting from 000 to 100, and then goes blank for approximately 10 seconds, when it should be counting down from 10 to 0.  The 2.0.4 Main upgrade appears to work normally.
