No LED red dot on filter cut-off

No LED red dot on filter cut-off

Is it just my machine or does the TEO-5 not show the red dot in the LED panel when you arrive on the filter cut-off's programmed value. Every other knob and button shows the dot except for this. I've played around with pass-thru, relative, and jump, hoping this might rectify the problem, but to no avail. It wouldn't be so bad if the values were shown in the main screen, but at the moment I have no idea what the original value is, other than to try and line it up by ear by repeatedly alternating between the compare button.

If this is the case, email support@sequential.com to report it and it’ll get fixed.

I assume you're TEO-5 doesn't exhibit this behaviour?

I think I may have found the answer to my own question - human error! Because the resolution on the filter cut-off is so fine, the dot appears but within a much tighter tolerance than with the other parameters/knobs. So even with a slow turn, you can end up skipping past the programmed setting fast enough for the dot not to register. To find the dot/setting you really need to make super fine adjustments, much more so than any other synth I've encountered (again, I wish the parameter values were displayed in the main screen).

I don’t own one. With all these things it’s best to contact support straight away as if there’s a firmware issue it is the only guaranteed way to get the report seen.

Glad you’re is working as expected.

to be honest, I cannot see a red dot in the display on any parameter? Where is it on the display exactly?

In the red 7-segment display area where the patch number is shown. It only appears when you move a control to match the saved position in the preset.
