Take 5 program editors

Take 5 program editors

What Take 5 program editors are out there - only SoundTower? If so, think I'm going to throw together a Ctrlr panel, since that has worked well for me (both standalone and VST).

Just got a Take 5 and I'm already annoyed at not being able to see the value of saved program parameters without turning the knobs back and forth until that tiny dot appears in the LED readout. (The LED is much smaller than on the Prophet-5, Prophet-6, etc. so it's harder to see.) The Rev2 shows current parm values in the OLED display. Even the Mopho x4 shows saved and current values in its display. The Take 5 *has* an OLED display, but that will only show values for parms which do not have a knob - sheesh.

Pretty sure SoundTower is it -- Midi Quest has a librarian, but not an editor.

Ok thanks ... got a decent amount of the panel working already. I was particularly interested to see about usage of the 16 mod matrix slots - there are actually some factory programs which use most or all. Also noticed some programs have the first few slots used and then slot 16 is used - not sure I would have thought about that when just looking at the slots one at a time on the synth (I wouldn't necessarily scroll all the way to 16 to check on every program).

Nice, and thanks! Took a quick glance over the doc and it looks quite useful, possibly could replace the Soundtower PlugSE in my workflow.

Do you have any advice or get started links for Ctrlr newbies?

Thanks a bunch for sharing.

BTW: I eventuall hacked together a panel for Take 5 and Propht 5 Rev4. Both are buggy and only display patches of the snyths, but as such, they servied me extremely well to learn about analog synthesis.

Cheers,
