I just bought a new Pro 3 SE. As much as I love it I am very (very) disappointed in the wood / stain color looking nothing like the images on Sequential website, YT videos, web photos etc. Instead of a traditional wood brown, its a deep chocolate black. And the side cheeks don't quite match the strip under he keybed.
I've raised a ticket with Sequential yesterday so a bit early to hear back yet.
Of course it does not affect the sound but my Rev2 is just fine and its a thing of beauty. I note my OB6 is a little darker, but the Pro 3 is almost black. Its really spoilt the new purchase. I feel like I've been misled buying not as advertised.
I know wood grain can vary, but this looks like a conscious decision to drastically change the color / stain and not update the website stock photos.
Any idea what options there are please?
