Trigon has no midi parameter for noise level

Trigon has no midi parameter for noise level

This seems a strange omission.  No CC or NRPN number for noise level?

Have you sent an email to support@sequential.com to highlight/query? Surely it’s an oversight either in the printing or the firmware.

There doesn't seem much point - they ignored the last email I sent about the OBX8 bug.

That’s a shame. I always get a reply whenever I contact them with bugs/feature suggestions.

It's a weird omission, isn't it? I added this to the firmware "wishlist" a few days ago. It seems like an easy win and would be very useful for external modulation.

What happens if you run a midi monitor (Midi-Ox or similar) or record midi in your DAW and turn the noise level knob?  (Make sure Param Xmit is turned on in globals) The knob should send the same CC/NRPN as the synth recognizes for noise level.

OB-6 module, Take 5, TEO-5, plus many other synths.

Nothing. I've tried it with my Low Frequency Expander which has MIDI learn and nothing is sent out.

Could you clarify if there are specific parameters you're expecting to control? Thank you!

There's only one parameter that could be affected and that's the level. E.g., it would be good to have a quick percussive hit after a NOTE ON that only sounds briefly while the rest of the amplitude envelope progresses normally.
