Pro 6 Sequencer randomly triggers on/off

P6 running 1.7.3
The sequencer randomly triggers on and/or off without warning
This happens unpredictably - sometimes up to 10 minutes apart, sometimes in quick sucessession.
There's no external triggers/cables/inputs.
Any ideas how to fix?
