FW2.0 update adds an unwanted side effect

FW2.0 update adds an unwanted side effect

Before 2.0 you could by pressing and holding the Osc Pulse button and then turning the PW knob set the PW for the individual oscillators. After 2.0 you can still do that, but you get the Tri wave shape for free in the audio path...  :D
Because holding and pressing the Pulse button is a new feature in 2.0 to add the Tri wave shape. This way, it makes setting the exact wanted Pulse Width quite difficult.

I guess this is not solvable on the panel, so I will have to go back to the page 2 parameters for individual PW settings.

It should be solvable:

Make it so the synth only executes the triangle command upon button release (rather than press), then make it so that if the button is held and the PW knob is turned, it will not execute the command to toggle the triangle.

It would be worth contacting support to highlight this issue. Feel free to include my proposed solution.

Thanks for flagging and sending this in. We do read the forums as often as we can, but it always helps getting things direct to support@. We're a pretty small team, and we handle all testing, repairs and support globally - loaded!  :o

Since holding the Pulse button now activates the Tri wave shape, it’s possible that the precision of setting individual Pulse Widths has been affected. As a result, you may indeed need to revert to adjusting these parameters using the page 2 settings or menu controls for finer tuning of the PW for each oscillator, as the front panel interface may not allow precise control due to the new Tri wave feature.
